Sadie Sink is officially back on Broadway!
The 22-year-old Stranger Things actress made her Broadway debut back in 2012 in the cast of Annie and now she’s leading the new play John Proctor is the Villain.
Sadie took her first bow in the show on Thursday (March 20) at the Booth Theatre in New York City.
Here is the synopsis of the play: “At a high school in a one-stoplight town in Georgia, an English class is studying The Crucible. The students, however, are more preoccupied with navigating young love, sex ed, and a few school scandals than what’s in their syllabus. But as they delve into this literary classic, the class begins to question the play’s perspective, especially whether John Proctor is the hero they’ve been taught he is.”
Sadie stars alongside Tony winner Gabriel Ebert, Nihar Duvvuri, Molly Griggs, Maggie Kuntz, Hagan Oliveras, Morgan Scott, Fina Strazza, and Amalia Yoo.
The new play, written by Kimberly Belflower and directed by Tony winner Danya Taymor, will have its official opening night on April 14. Tickets are on sale through June 22. Get yours now!
