Broadway stars Reeve Carney and Eva Noblezada are getting married!
The Hadestown alums got engaged on March 10 on Blackfriars Bridge in London. Carney, 41, shared a sweet video on March 16 of the moment when he popped the question, set to the backdrop of a street band playing “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You” by Frankie Valli.
“She said YES!!!!!!!!” he captioned the Instagram post. “Eva, every day since meeting you has been the best day of my life.”
Carney continued, “I love you, I love you, I love you @livevamaria!!! ❤️😭❤️🙌🏻❤️ So honored, and excited, and over the MOON to be on this journey with you!!!… ❤️🙏🏻❤️ #TTGAB 🎊🎉😍😊❤️❤️🙌🏻🎉🎊🙏🏻😍 3/10/25. Not enough emojis!!!…❤️❤️❤️.”

Noblezada, 28, posted a sweet message of her own on Instagram. Sharing a selection of photos and videos from the special day and a dinner outing, she wrote, “I am texting this caption as a friggin Fiancé!!!!! 😭😭😭.”

Her carousel concluded with a blurry photo of the couple on a walk which, she stated in the caption, was taken six years ago.
The Hadestown Instagram account shared a post on March 15 featuring three photos of the engagement, including one of Noblezada showing off her unique triangular ring. “It’s an old song, and sometimes it turns out the way it should,” they captioned the post, in reference to the musical.

A number of stage and screen stars congratulated the happy couple in the comments sections of their respective posts. Disney Channel alum Dove Cameron wrote, “Ohhhhhh i’m crying,” and Joanna “JoJo” Levesque said, “Omg beautiful congratulations!!!!!!!!!!”
West End star Marisha Wallace commented, “MY BABIES!!! Congratulations I love yall! Here is to forever ❤️,” while Adam Lambert wrote a simple, “Congratulations!!!!”
Carney and Noblezada met in 2019 while playing star-crossed lovers in Anaïs Mitchell’s hit Broadway musical Hadestown, in which they originated the roles of Orpheus and Eurydice.
The musical pair recently performed in a March 14 concert at The Green Room 42 in New York City.
In an Facebook post, the venue said that the couple shared the news of their engagement during the concert. “They stole the stage AND our hearts announcing their engagement during a sold-out show. I’m not crying, you are,” the venue captioned the post.

In the video, Noblezada can be seen stopping the concert and saying that she needs to retrieve something from Carney’s mother, Marti Heil-Carney. After making her way into the audience with her fiancé, she proclaimed, “I just need to get something very important from my future mother-in-law,” right before she showed off the ring on her finger.
Noblezada and Carney reprised their roles in the West End production of Hadestown from Feb. 11 to March 9, along with original Broadway cast members Patrick Page, Amber Gray and Andre de Shields. The show was professionally filmed, per a press release.
Noblezada is next set to star in Broadway’s Cabaret alongside country singer Orville Peck beginning on March 31.
