Jessica Simpson just took the term “looking fly” to new heights.
On Thursday, March 13, the singer shared videos to TikTok and Instagram of her rocking a cool airport look in Austin, Texas, where she traveled to perform for the first time in 15 years at the Recording Academy’s Austin Chapter Block Party during the South by Southwest festival.
In the video, the fashion designer can be seen in a luxurious fur teal coat over what appears to be a cheetah-print jumpsuit and tall latex boots with heels. She also rocks oversized aviator sunglasses and a large cross necklace.
“We just landed in Austin and right now I’m going to wait in line at Enterprise. This is not an ad, but I’m getting a rental car,” she says before the clip hilariously cuts to her entering a line full of other renters.
Fans praised her over-the-top travel attire in the comments with one writing, “This is EXACTLY how I want to dress the next time I fly…”
Celebrity hairstylist Rita Hazan commented, “Classic Jessica. I love it also that coat is everything I may have to steal it from you next time I see you @jessicasimpson.”

Simpson’s music career has been going strong since she debuted her pop-country rock single “Use My Heart Against Me,” which marks her first original song release in years.
“It was a sexy song to write,” Simpson told PEOPLE exclusively of the track, which is a part of her forthcoming EP, Nashville Canyon, Part 1, out March 21.
She also put out “Leave” two months after announcing her separation from Eric Johnson in January after 10 years of marriage. The song addresses a former lover who has seemingly left her for another woman, possibly alluding to the breakdown of their marriage.

Dressed in a suede Western outfit, Simpson sang “These Boots are Made for Walking” and “Son of a Preacher Man” at the Austin event, per Rolling Stone.
“This time I needed to remember who I was and why I wanted to sing in the fist place and all the music that inspires me. I need to forget who they told me to be,” Simpson said before introducing “Breadcrumbs” (another song off her EP), per a video shared by an attendee.
